VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CONTINUES

One more in the activities of voluntary blood donation actions that in the cooperation with Palilula Municipality  is organized with the `Institute for blood transfusion - Nis` in Local Community building `Palilula` was a part of promotion that is being realized with the motivation words: `YOUR FIVE MINUTES - SOMEONE`S WHOLE LIFE`.

President of Palilula Municipality answered the call who had been himself a donor for more than ten times. He called the citizens of Palilula to join Municipal and Institute`s action and donate their blood. `Even once it happened to me that during one medical procedure in Clinical Centre when blood was necessary for my health problems, thanks to blood reserves I had successful therapy and good results. I know what this liquide really means to one person and hereby I would like to call all humane people to join the action`- said the president.

Because of weather conditions the citizens feedback was not satisfactory this time, so all the interested citizens can donate blood in the Institute for transfusion (Dr Zorana Djincica, 48) on work day from 8 00-19 00 and on Saturday from 8 00 to 12 00 hours, contact phone 018/ 45 33 106.`To give safe blood is a privilege, to accept safe blood is everyone`s right`.`Blood saves lives`.`Every day thousands of people would die worldwide if the others did not give their blood for them`- is something often heard in the Institute for blood transfusion-Nis.
