MEETING WITH THE
OWNERS OF HOTELS
AND HOSTELS

Palilula
Municipality
organized the
work meeting
with the
representatives
of the hotels: `Aleksandar`,
`Panorama`, `Vidikovac`,
`Zeleni Vir`, `Svetlost`
and hostels `Evropa`
and `Marvel`.
All of them are
from Palilula
Municipal
territory. The
representatives
of the hotels
and hostels were
welcomed by
councilor Boban
Mikic with his
associates and
the
representative
of new opened
public
enterprise `Gorica`.
One of the
themes was the
joint
presentation at
`10
International
fair of tourism,
ecology and
sport` that will
take place from
April 8 to April
10 2009 in Cair
Hall in Nis. The
representatives
of the hotels
and hostels
defined the
details and the
ways of
representing
their capacities
at the coming
Fair.
The orientation
of Palilula
Municipality in
`Strategic
analyses –
Strategic plan
of development`
is direction to
the activities
of development
of tourism and
hotelier
business of this
local government
where one can
find important
tourist
potentials and
capacities with
this sphere, so
this meeting was
used firstly for
defining
problems the
hoteliers
frequently meet,
all aiming at
their final
solving.
The
representatives
of Palilula
hotels specified
that one of the
biggest problems
is actually the
lack of tourist
signalization at
Palilula
territory. This
would have a
task to inform
the visitors of
Nis about the
position and
capacities of
the hotels of
Palilula. Boban
Mikic, Palilula
councilor, said
that Palilula
Municipality
together with `Gorica`,
new formed
public
enterprise, Head
office for
communal
affairs,
energetic and
traffic and
Tourist
organization of
Nis (TON) would
work on the
solution of this
problem.
Palilula
Municipality in
the cooperation
with the
representatives
of the hotels
and hostels
revealed the
common objective
for the
elaboration of
the attractive
joint tourist
offer that will
attract the
tourists to
visit Palilula
and Nis.
