`PALILULA NIGHT ` PREPARATIONS STARTED

Board for the celebration of traditional manifestation `Palilula Night`, formed after the decision of the Council of Palilula Municipality, held the first constitutional meeting. Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Assembly was elected for the president of the Board and for the vice-president Bratislav Vuckovic, deputy-manager of JKP Mediana, public enterprise.

The task of this Board, constituted of the representatives of municipalities, institutions, organizations and individuals from Palilula, is to create the programme of celebrating `Palilula Night` that will take place on Wednesday June 3 2009.

During this meeting it is agreed to organize the manifestation events in the streets: `Vojvode Gojka`, `Episkopska` and `Bozidarceva street` and that central spot will be in the area of Palilula railway stop, like the years before. It is also discussed about new events of the manifestation and about the central manifestation event. Palilula Municipality has started the initiative that this traditional event of Palilula Night, organized within the celebration of St Constantine and Helen Days in Nis, should be as well organized as a tourist attraction that will bring both domestic and tourists abroad to our city.
