Delegations
of students
and
professors
from Austria
and grammar
school `Svetozar
Markovic`
from Nis
(Palilula)
were
welcomed by
PhD Igor
Novakovic,
president of
Palilula
Municipality.
This meeting
for students
was
organized
celebration
of the
decade of
the
`Alliance of
secondary
schools of
Europe`. In
very cordial
conversation
many
examples of
good
practice of
these local
government
and grammar
school were
emphasized.
Olga
Dragojlovic,
headmaster
of `Svetozar
Markovic`
school
introduced
to president
Novakovic
the facts
about
international
project `Sandrkorn`
from 1999
(realized by
high school
from Ibs,
Austria and
`Svetozar
Markovic`
school) the
Alliance
that has
linked
European
high schools
was born.
Thanks to
this
Association
high schools
from Nis
have
participated
and
represented
our
country,
City of Niš
and Palilula
in several
international
projects in
Austria,
Italy,
France, the
Netherlands,
Sweden,
Poland, the
Czech
Republic,
Slovakia,
Ireland.
Results and
works are
published in
the common
journal,
"United
Future"
(common
future),
published
and promoted
in all
European
schools.
President
Novakovic
emphasized
the
importance
of the
cooperation
that have
young
people, and
expressed
strong
willingness
to promote
this
activity in
future. The
president
also
announced
that the
students
would
represent
Palilula
Municipality
within
neighbor
cooperation
programme
with
Bulgarian
municipality
Svoge.
