SUCESSFUL MUNICIPAL WORK IN 2009

According to Municipal tradition, at the end of this year during New Year press conference, president of Palilula Municipality PhD Igor Novakovic submitted the annual work report. After the estimation of the president, but also the citizens, Palilula Municipality is one responsible local unit organization of the City of Nis that in 2009 has managed to have great results. System of quality management, due to ISO 9001:2008, standard is established. With this activity Palilula found its place in world list of local self governments that fulfill strict conditions and demands of this quality standard and it is, first of all, complete satisfaction of services users-citizens and all employed in Palilula Municipality. ` `As a president of Palilula Municipality, I am very satisfied with our business activities and the results that show that in 2009 in financial meaning we were doing well`- emphasized the president. `Total outcomes of the Municipality is 85.085.496,53 dinars, while in the same period, total incomes were 88.712.582,21 dinars. The work of councils groups and coalitional partners was very constructive. Good cooperation was also with councilors` groups that are not in coalition.  We had seven meetings of Palilula Assembly held and 21 meetings of Palilula Council. We significantly improved the work of Municipal administration. In reporting period we were at the service to our citizens which is the primary aim of our organization of local self government of the City of Nis. We continued the work with the Councils of citizens in villages and parts of Palilula, increased the number of meetings with the citizens in rural and urban area`.

In the Administration itself, the work of inspection service is improved which resulted in improving the financial results. We continued the reorganization of inspection service at the terrain aiming at efficient solving of citizens demands and terrain problems. All Municipal potentials we directed to making and realization of projects with the objective to solve citizens` problems, reaching complete satisfaction of services users-citizens of Palilula Municipality and approaching to EU standards`.

Vesna Jovanovic Jankovic, general secretary of Palilula Assembly and members of Palilula Council: Zorica Stojiljkovic and Boban Mikic were present at this conference. At the end of his annual report, Novakovic emphasized that `planned activities at the territory of Palilula Municipality, that are planned by Programme of reconstruction of building land and structuring with financial plan for 2010,  was adopted by City of Nis Assembly. With this programme, that is, according to its financial scope, the biggest in the City, the preparing and equipment for building land was planned with communal infrastructures for public service purposes areas-secondary net, city and rural areas of Palilula Municipality.

To all Palilula and City of Nis citizens, business partners who supported the developmental Palilula projects, media representatives, president Novakovic wished Happy New 2010 and wished that with joint work they can all contribute to its complete development.
