EXHBITION OF GERMAN FILM POSTERS OPENED

German sound film classics – international film manifestation, was opened in NKC on Wednesday Febryary 4. Many visitors were welcomed by PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality. The president expressed his appreciation to Goethe Institute, Ecopolis net and NKC, emphasizing the importance and the role of international cultural cooperation and the way it could be easy developed with the partnership of local government, institutions and organizations.
Through ten posters – the most famous film posters of German company UFA from the 30s and 40s of the previous century, we had a chance to see a sort of documentary version of film history. The authors of these film posters were famous: Robert L. Leonard, Theo Matejko, Josef Fenneker, Werner Graul, Heinz Schulz-Neudamm and Peter Pewas.
The cycle of ten films, all titled in Serbian, was organized by Dragan Vidojkovic,manager od International film parade - Ecopolis fest together with Dejan Dabic, editor of NKC film repertoire.
`Amphitryon` 1935 was the movie scheduled for the opening. This film was directed by Reinhold Schünzel and `Der Blaue Angel`, 1930 with gorgeous Marlene Dietrich is the second for the opening night. Thursday was the day for `Die Drei von der Tankstelle` and `Der Kaiser von Kalifornien`, then on Friday the audience could see `Kongress tanzt` and `La Habanera`. Saturday was selected for Lachende Erben and `M – eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder`. This manifestation was closed on Sunday with `Münchhausen` and `Titanic` .
Because of the help of sponsors the entrance for all projections was free.
