TОURISM IN COUNTRYSIDE – EXPECTATIONS

Boban Mikic, Municipal councilor participated at the meeting of tourist economy representatives of the City of Nis that was organized in Nis Regional chamber of commerce, organized by TON Touristic organization of Nis due to the 10^th International fair of tourism, ecology and sport. Vladimir Jovanovic, general manager of TON introduced the participants with working programme of organization in 2009. Jubilee type of tenth fair in line - International fair will take place in Nis from April 8 to April 10 in Cair hall organized by TON (www.nistourism.org.yu), Sport union of Nis and Ekopolis net (www.ekopolis.rs). Like over the previous years it has been planed to present all Nis municipalities, as well as tourist agencies.

Palilula Municipality has been regularly promoting its natural goods, organic food producers and all possible Palilula`s tourist potentials. The guests of this Fair and the guests of Palilula Municipality were also in previous two years the tourist representatives of Svoge Municipality, Bulgaria, the municipality Palilula has programme type of international cooperation.

The chance of development of the City of Nis and all its city municipalities, have been estimated during this meeting, as cultural treasures and natural goods of the area, but also the possibilities of tourism development in the countryside, the sphere of great priority in developmental projects of EU and Republic of Serbia.
