Because of
their
excellent
results the
members of
athlete club
`Zeleznicar`
Milka
Djordjevic,
Andrijana
Stojcic and
Marko
Jankovic
were all
invited by
the
president at
the
reception in
Palilula
Municipality.
Milka
Djordjevic
is younger
and older
junior
champion and
senior
recorder in
hammer
throwing,
her younger
friend
Andrijana
Stojcic is a
champion of
Serbia in
the category
of younger
juniors and
a winner of
silver medal
for older
juniors in
hammer
throwing.
Marko
Jankovic is
multiple
Serbian
champion in
sprint race
on 100
meters. In
his sport
career he
has won over
150 medals
and recently
graduated at
the Faculty
for sport
and physical
education,
Nis
University.
He expects
to find soon
an
appropriate
job.
These three
successful
athletes,
who all live
in Palilula,
were invited
to Palilula
Municipality
where PhD
Igor
Novakovic,
president,
who made a
reception
for them.
Boban Mikic,
Municipal
councilor
was also
present at
the
reception.
`Our
Municipality
supports and
helps the
development
of sport on
its
municipal
territory.
It is always
organized
over
offering
transport to
athletes to
competitions,
donations of
sport
equipment
and
requisites,
creating
conditions
for
structuring
and
reconstructing
of sport
terrains`
emphasized
Novakovic. `
For the
future
competitions
of athletes
in the
beginning of
the next
month, the
equipment is
provided in
the sum of
40, 000
dinars.
However, it
is very
important
for our
community to
accept these
young people
and provide
them all the
necessary
conditions
for further
improvement`,
concluded
Novakovic.
During the
reception in
the
Municipality
of Palilula,
the young
athletes
spoke of the
conditions
of their
training,
importance
of the
support of
the City of
Nis and
Palilula
Municipality,
their
international
competitions
and already
reached
results.
