HELPING THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST

One –shot humanitarian financial help is provided for the family of Nazmija Misimovic – family of nine who all live in 11, `Mramorska` street. It was done with the activity of Palilula Municipality authorities.

Milos Stojkovic, Municipal councilor, visited this Roma nationality family to donate: beds, mattress, blankets, bedding, clothes and shoes for the youngest members of the family, canned food, hygiene products.

`In this time of economic crisis that influences most those poorest from our society, this is not one single activity of social support to the people of Palilula. Up to end of this month, we will visit two more families who take care of children (children live with the families, like adopted) in `Ledena stena` and `9 Maj` areas for donating help in the form they need it most.

In the cooperation with NGO sector and with the support of Ministry of education of Republic of Serbia, Palilula Municipality will provide valuable donation to the school on Palilula territory. It will be realized while waiting for new school year and this donation will be based on new desks, chairs and other necessary school inventory.

Based on recently published statistical data, Palilula Municipality is one of the poorest Serbian municipalities, therefore this activity appears very important.
