Anent to
project
realization
of Palilula
Municipality
– `Solving
of
residential
issues of
the people
with slide
ground
problems in
the
territory of
Mramor-Krusce
area`, Sanja
Cekovic,
state
secretary in
the Ministry
of
administration
and local
self-government
visited the
Municipality
of Palilula.
Mrs. Cekovic
handed the
Decision on
financial
support for
these
purposes.
For the
coverage of
one year
rent for
flats for 15
families up
to the end
of this
year, that
do not have
at the
moment
solved their
housing
problems,
the Ministry
approved
financial
resources in
the amount
of 1,
686,000
dinars from
the
resources,
that are
realized by
state
lottery
games and
are used for
local self
government
financing.

Novakovic-with
this
particular
project
wants to
provide
stable,
regular and
appropriate
financing of
housing of
the people
in
Mramor-Krusce,
for the
families
that are
jeopardized
by this
natural
disaster and
do not have
housing
problem
solved`. The
slider
ground in
Mramor-Krusce
has existed
since 1938
and first
greater
sliding
grounds were
activated at
the end of
1999. After
that it came
to
deterioration
of this
problem and
spreading
the sliding
ground,
especially
in the
spring of
2005.
As a part of
their
official
duty, the
inspectors
of
Department
for
inspection
affairs of
City of Nis
stated that
many objects
had the
visual
damages due
to sliding
ground
effects and
represented
immediate
danger for
the
stability,
i.e.
security of
housing and
using of
these
objects.
After the
appeal of
the people
living
there, whose
houses are
much damaged
and who are
forbidden to
continue
living in
them, City
of Nis and
Palilula
Municipality
took over
the
obligation
for paying
the housing
rent of 16
flats for 16
families
that are not
cared of in
housing
point of
view. The
condition
was that
these
families
are, the
families
whose houses
were damaged
where they
lived
before, had
necessary
licenses and
that those
families had
dwellings at
the very
street
addresses
where the
sliding
ground was.
To these
families,
the
compensation
of housing
rent is
provided
from
December
2006 to
February
2009. Due to
insufficient
budget
resources in
2009 the
payment of
the coming
rates for
these
families was
late and the
people who
live in
private
houses are
threatened
to be laid
off from
those flats.
With this
project,
made out by
Palilula
Municipality,
and with the
big
understanding
by Ministry
of
administration
and local
self
government
and City of
Nis, this
particular
problem
temporary is
solved.
Certain new
projects
appear in
Palilula
Municipality
where the
permanent
solution is
expected for
solving the
problem of
the families
who are at
the highest
risk in
Mramor and
Krusce.
