SERBIAN AND CHINESE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION OPENED

With symbolic string cutting and opening ceremony in Chinese business `Asia center - Novi vek` in Nis, the president of Palilula Assembly, Milan Djurdjevic with Gua Shiao, the president of Chinese trade association marked the very beginning of Serbian and Chinese Business Association. Many delegations were present: delegation of the Ministry for foreign affairs, the representatives of Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, the representatives of Nis municipalities- Palilula and Pantelej and Municipalities from Nis region – Svrljig and Gadzin Han, the representatives of Association of private entrepreneurs this event has announced new forms of cooperation of China and Serbia.

Palilula Municipality and Association of private entrepreneurs were the initiators of the cooperation with Chinese association entrepreneurs in Nis, said Bratislav Vukadinovic, president of Nis association of entrepreneurs. That cooperation has motivated other business subjects and companies in Nis and this Region to show the interest for the meetings with the new business partners.

In the given work and business conditions, Chinese people have shown their ability of trading in our country, emphasized Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Assembly while talking with Zeng Lio, attaché for business relations, Embassy of China in Belgrade and with Zoran Djordjevic, advisor, Ministry for foreign affairs, Republic of Serbia.  That is why we count on them as valuable investors, he continued. Milan Stevanovic, councilor of Palilula Municipality took part also in this meeting.

This significant gathering of investors and business people was continued by 2009 Chinese New Year celebration party. During this occasion Bojan Ilic, the head of Palilula Municipality administration and Slavoljub Savic, head of one of Municipal sectors,  had many bilateral encounters.

With the best wishes that this activity of new opened Association will start giving the first results, this meeting was full of optimism of businesspeople and the representatives of local authorities.
