MEDIUM
ENTERPRISES
STARTED

Palilula
Municipality
has started
the process
of
elaboration
of the
Strategy of
small and
medium
enterprises
of Palilula.
Taking into
account the
small
systems,
micro, small
and medium
enterprises
are featured
with
flexibility
and they can
easily and
faster react
in the new
formed
situation in
the market
and use
their own
size in the
gaining
profit.
Beside, in
our economic
circles it
is said that
actually
these micro,
small and
medium
enterprises
will be a
sort of
basic point
of future
economic
development,
so that they
will, in
this way,
replace big
systems
loss.
Recognizing
this role
and its
comparative
advantage,
Palilula
Municipality
has an
obligation
and a role
to help and
support the
development
of small and
medium
enterprises.
Because of
all these
points we
coordinate
the work on
the strategy
of SME
sector.
The
objective of
the strategy
is an
improvement
of the
surrounding
for the
business of
small and
medium
enterprises
and
improvement
of their
competitiveness,
both at home
and foreign
market, so
the reducing
of gray
economy and
poverty in
Palilula
municipal
area would
appear and
in this way
widely in
Nis and the
region
itself. Our
strategy
should make
some kind of
frame for
dynamic,
competitive
and export
–oriented
sector of
small and
medium
enterprises
from
Palilula
territory,
the most
significant
social
effects that
should be
created with
this
strategy are
the
increasing
of
employment
and export,
increasing
of payment
deficit,
regional
economic
development.
Beside, with
the
realization
of strategic
objectives
of this
particular
strategy,
and with the
realization
of the
action plan,
a number of
small and
medium
enterprises
from
Palilula
should come
closer to
the level of
EU, but
should also
function due
to the
principles
and
standards of
EU.
Together
with the
development
of this
strategy, we
make
stronger the
capacities
for using
pre-accessing
structural
funds of EU
and getting
developmental
sources that
will allow
the start of
the
production.
By making
this action
plan of the
strategy we
will set the
guidelines
for future
projects
that we will
all be
involved
with only
one aim –
development
of Palilula.
With this
strategy we
want to
define what
we want to
obtain and
the
direction
that we
should take,
so that
straying
would be
stopped in
the
questions of
what and
where to
produce.
With this
document we
set the
basics for
better
information
exchange and
cooperation
of SME
sector, so
that we
would not
have doubled
capacities,
not enough
quality of
products,
products
that do not
have their
market at
all, money
that is
spent
irrationally
for the
structuring
of new
objects if
there are
objects
already
existing…As
a support to
the
realization
of these
objectives,
Palilula
Municipality
opens Center
for
entrepreneurship
that will
have a role
to make
easier
functioning
of SME
sector. We
will put our
efforts to,
apart from
the service
as such,
become also
partner in
SME sector,
since the
development
of the
enterprise
bring only
good to all
the citizens
from
Palilula.
Also, with
the opening
of the
office for
Local
economic
development
we will also
try to
follow the
work of this
sector
through
these
phases, to
be the
connection
with the
investors,
to work on
the projects
together
with the
entrepreneurs
all with the
aim to
attract
foreign
investments,
but also to
influence to
the reducing
of
bureaucracy
type of
procedures
ad reducing
of certain
expenses.
Palilula
Municipality,
together
with other
municipalities
of Nis
region,
participates
in the
Programme of
local
economic
development
on the
Balkans –
LEDIB. This
five year
programme
has for its
objective
the support
for local
economic
development
with the
focus on the
development
of small and
medium
enterprises
and
entrepreneurship.
