president of the
region for Society
of physics of
Serbia, PhD Goran
Djordjevic and the
president of
Palilula
Municipality, PhD
Igor Novakovic
signed the Protocol
on cooperation.
This form of
partnership is the
result of number of
months activities of
local self
government on the
connection of
scientific
potentials and
educational
institutions and
organizations in
Palilula, due to
Strategic plan of
development of
Palilula
Municipality -
emphasized the
president of the
Municipality PhD
Igor Novakovic. With
this Protocol long
term aims of
cooperation are
determined in the
fields of education,
work with interested
and gifted children,
specially from the
area of physics and
natural sciences,
improvement of high
education,
development of
scientific young
generation and
university
international
cooperation. PhD
Goran Djordjevic
from PMF - Faculty
of natural sciences,
University of Nis,
who is one of the
initiators of the
contract signing is
also a coordinator
of Executive
commission of SEENET
-MTP - the net for
Southeast Europe
(realized under the
patronage of
UNESCO). Professor
Djordjevic is very
satisfied with
understanding and
support given by
Palilula management.
Palilula
Municipality is an
organization of
local self
government with
European role model
concept, which does
not see the unit of
local self
government simply as
an administrative
service, but also as
a partner who is
taking active and
efficient part in
solving all the
problems of local
community, as well
as in the life
improvement in all
its segments.
