Pupils from `Bubanjski heroji` elementary school visited Palilula Municipality during `European week local of democracy`, organized from October 12 to 18. It was one unique event that allowed the members of Pupils` Parliament of this school to meet the authorities of this Municipality and become introduced with the way of Municipal work and activities. Julija Trickovic, pupil from the sixth grade, in the name of her school friends, informed the president of the Municipality about the conditions of the work in school and the life children and pupils have in this part of Palilula. Julija and her friends, among the other things, asked the president to help them with purchasing one computer and all following equipment. The discussion was in cozy atmosphere and with excellent impressions from both sides. After that, nothing was left upon promises. President Novakovic, after the decision brought by the Council, provided one computer as a present for `Bubanjski heroji` school. Verica Radenkovic, head master of `Bubanjski heroji` was pleasantly surprised by the children initiative and Municipal authorities decision. `Supporting the children, talented pupils is our strategic motive and we will always invest in their development and education`-emphasized Novakovic. During the small ceremony in the library of this school, president Novakovic gave the present to Julija Trickovic. Vesna Jovanovic Jankovic, general secretary of Municipal Council, Milos Stojkovic and Milan Andrejic, members of Municipal Council, greeted and congratulated the children on their initiative.  As an answer to the question `where this computer will take place`, the pupils answered that it will be included in Civic education programme and lessons from Religion teaching programme, but also it will used for the needs of Pupils` Parliament of this school.
