INSTEAD OF ASBESTOS, NEW PIPES FOR KRUSCE VILLAGE WATER PIPE SYSTEM

Following the context of regular activities of highly important issues support and recognition considering infrastructural development programme realization in rural area, PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality and Milos Stojkovic, member of Palilula Assembly Council, visited village Krusce. During this occasion, 400 meters water pipe was donated to Krusce. The pipe is donation of Palilula Municipality and `Pestan` Arandjelovac - storage company in Nis, aiming at better water quality supply. `One of necessary pre-conditions for one whole village development is also infrastructural equipping and traffic connectivity, by which the conditions of living in village and living in city will be equalized more or less. It is very important to stop the departure of young people`, emphasized president Novakovic. `We have been solving, during the recent period, many problems that appeared over not fulfilling legally determined obligation of public communal services. As one responsible organization of local self government, we have been working on improving life quality of all categories in Palilula municipality settled parts. Together with Public Enterprise `Mediana`, we have been engaged on the matter of irresponsible waste storages, then on solving the issue of village graveyard, sewerage and problem of atmosphere waters` – said Novakovic.
Village Krusce has over 1500 of people and stands for one of bigger inhabited places in Palilula. Tomislav Stojanovic, president of Krusce Council Citizens Association, showed his appreciation to Palilula authorities for this important donation. New pipes will replace the old made of asbestos. Owing to this, the quality of water supply will be improved and the water consumption per household will be in the same time reduced. This water consumption was previously increased due to pipes bursting. Palilula Municipality, according to Stojanovic words, also helped in work engagement of geometer for measuring rural area, ramparts cleaning and wild dumps near playgrounds, but also helped in construction of bus stops. The current issues is solving of the problem of electricity in Cultural Institution which would contribute to richer social life in this village.
