NEW DEVELOPMENT CYCLE HELPED WITH PROJECTS AND RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS

Eleventh regular Palilula Assembly meeting,presided by Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Assembly, was held on October 29 2009 in NKC. After legitimating the Minutes from the last meeting, meeting agenda was adopted by acclamation. The councilors legitimated the Report of budget implementation and transferring of Palilula Municipality for the period January 1 2009 September 30 2009 and brought the Decision on the replacement and additions to Decision of Budget for 2009. According to this report, Municipality showed positive business transactions comparing to 5, 321,474 dinars. Only according to the realization of various projects, the Municipality has had during this period, the income of for about 7,460,577 dinars. Planned resources in this budget of Municipality for 2009 are, due to report, –rebalance reduced for 50,317,106 dinars. According to president Novakovic`s words, the business transactions of Palilula Municipality, as one responsible organization of City of Nis local self-government, is following the time we live in. `Significant savings have been realized, but also the scope of resources has been enlarged per project and donation which allowed engagement of unemployed people from National employment service evidence in Nis, within the programme of public and social support to fellow citizens. About 9,222,448,95 dinars, that was approved to our Municipality as a project carrier from the Budget of the Republic of Serbia-Ministry of economy and regional development, has been directed to Public Enterprise Mediana - immediate doer of Memorial Park `Bubanj` reconstruction works and are additional resources in incomes`-emphasizes president Novakovic. We expect that, up to the end of this year, even new income resources. As a result of many monthly activities on the improvement of Municipal capacity and creating new business surrounding for the development to SME sector, the councilors in one vote legitimated `Strategy for the development of small and medium enterprises in Palilula municipal territory`. With adopting this strategic document, that is being realized with LEDIB help, due to the estimation of president Novakovic, Palilula Municipality receives reference of one serious community that has a vision of which direction SMEs should take. This fact will only allow us to come easier to available funds and provide improvement of capacities of their firms.

At the end of 11th Assembly meeting, the questions and initiatives of Palilula councilors were given answers.
