PALILULA STANDS FOR ONE RESPONSIBLE ORGANIZATION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT

After the accusations and criticism for the work of Palilula Municipality, heard during press conferences by certain politicians from the City, and aiming at good practice realization and also aiming at one total informing of people about the Municipal work, we remind the public on the following: After the local elections in 2008, the unique vision on the way to European integrations was framed in Palilula Municipality which states that on the way to European integrations local community development must be directed to market mechanism. Such projecting of Palilula Municipality, development written also down in `Strategic Analyses – Strategic developmental plan` that in the end of 2008`, was legitimated by Palilula Municipality. Strategic development in Palilula is based upon infrastructural and trade potentials objectively viewed signs, economic possibilities and local community place in the City. Palilula Municipality has provided recently additional resources in Municipal budget and conditions for work engagement for more than 100 people coming from National employment service register evidence within the scope of its activities and authorizations and as one responsible organization of local community of the City of Nis, with successful engagement of all resources and potentials-human resources, both technical and political resources with the quality of its projects, during the recent period.
In the procedure of establishing system of quality management, in accordance with very strict demands of ISO 9001:2008, it is especially important the citizens estimation about the work so far realized by Municipal Administration, given in anonymous opinion questionnaire based on the level of satisfaction of Palilula citizens – users of our services. On the question ` I am fully satisfied with the services of Palilula Municipality`, 62 percent of people circled that they fully agreed upon this statement. For good result the staff, employees of Palilula are first of all the one be thankful to. According to 65,85 percent of people questioned the workers are well dressed, very polite, sticking to professional standards, fulfilling citizens needs and demands. Palilula Municipality, according to 79,27 percent of questioned people, has clean and well decorated working rooms and offices. On the question of comparing services with other municipalities, more than 62 percent responded that Palilula Municipality is better than other municipalities.
Palilula Municipality will celebrate `European week of local democracy` from October 12 to 18 and will join the initiative of Congress of local and regional authorities of European Council ALDE and Steady Conference of cities and municipalities of Serbia. These activities are implemented for the promotion of locally elected representatives and authorities` work and improvement of the citizens knowledge on the local authorities` activities, as well as the encouragement of citizens participation on the local level. We direct the call to all interested citizens, specially Municipal work `work critcs` to visit Palilula Municipal administration during this week and in immediate contact with the employed and Palilula authorities check one more time their own attitudes and opinions.
Owing to project ideas and Municipal efforts, but also to the fact that the vision of Palilula development, in spite of hard economic situation, every day we make it more realizable, it is highly surprising the daring of individuals to bring untrue information to public about Municipal work and use the possibility to deceive the public in this way. The motives for these actions are obviously of some other kind, not the development and prosperity of Municipality and citizens better life, but taking over the government no matter how by using lies and deceits.
