PRESIDENT NOVAKOVIC OPENED FOURTH IT CONFERENCE `biZbuZZ` 2009 After the introductory word of Vitomir Ognjanovic, project manger, who thanked to many Conference participants on their support, PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality, opened this informational technologies gathering. `This year conference themes `Corporative aspects of social medias` and `Applicability in interface applications`, gave us motivation to transfer the part of our experience in the realization of City of Nis local self-government functioning–emphasized president Novakovic at the Conference opening. The influence of local authorities to local economical development is very significant. They can establish immediate relations with citizens, easily motivate them and make a move creating of private and public engagements and partnerships, so in this way, to create surrounding attractive for investments and new projects. Improvement of business, combined with the application of informational technologies, can indirectly contribute to the development of local community` –concluded Novakovic.
