PALILULA MUNICIPALITY GOT CERTIFICATE ISO 9001:2008

Manager of SGS company Marinko Ukropina handed in the certificate ISO 9001:2008 to PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality at the ceremony in NKC in the presence of many guests and representatives of the City of Nis and this Region, including Georgi Jurukov, general consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Nis. This certificate affirms providing services and authorizations of one municipality and improvement of life standard in the community. President Novakovic addressed to all with the following speech:

`Dear colleagues and friends, it is great honour and pleasure, and before all, it is a great obligation and responsibility, to be at SGS list with prestige world companies like Toyota, Air Force, Coca Cola, US Steel, Nestle, the companies that fulfill clear demands of ISO 9001:2008 quality standard. Today we announce that we are first municipality in Nis and fourth in Serbia that, owing to the implementation and certification of its quality management system, receives ISO certificate. Receiving ISO certificate shows that Palilula Municipality takes care of citizens, users of our services, as well of the employers. It is a good example to the others for showing the way we take care of public interest and contribute to society improvement. High estimation of our citizens regarding our work so far was given in anonymous opinion poll on the degree of satisfaction of the services by the users themselves with marking: `Summing all up, I am very satisfied with Palilula Municipality services` encourages and gives us motives. In the name of Palilula Municipality, Assembly and Palilula Municipal Council and all employed in Palilula Municipal Administration, I am expressing my gratitude to Palilula and the authorities of the City of Nis for the support in understanding the aims of this project`.
