MEMORIAL PARK `BUBANJ` TERRAIN CLEANING IN PROGRESS

After the estimation that the works in Memorial park `Bubanj` are not being realized due to previously expected project dynamics, the representatives of activities reacted – Public Enterprises `Mediana` and `Gorica`, as well as the representatives of National employment service in Nis. Press conference was organized in Bubanj, where the activities of the engaged workers on this project were presented to the public. Bratislav Vuckovic, deputy manger of Public Enterprise Mediana gave his word that the planned activities, especially those referring to forming trim and bike paths in Bubanj, will have been completed within given deadline. Milan Djurdjevic, president of the Assembly of Palilula Municipality, gave the statement that the representatives of Palilula Municipality, as carriers of Bubanj project would regularly visit this terrain that was located for project realization and discuss about the remarks.
Total project value, approved to Palilula Municipality, is 11,528,061,2 dinars. City of Nis participates in financing this project resources in the sum of 2,305,612,3 dinars, and the Republic of Serbia – Ministry of economy and regional development with 9,222,448,95 dinars. It is expected that with forming these new paths and putting sport climbing cliffs, as well as amphitheatre rearrangement will make the improvement of tourist-sport and recreational offer of the City and Palilula municipality.
Over the realization of this project, through public works programme, it is emphasized in Palilula, the socio-economic situation of jeopardized categories of people through their working engagement, that is in coordination with National employment service, will be also improved.
