`KRALJ PETAR PRVI CUP` PARTICIPANTS IN `LET`S CLEAN NIS` ACTION

Republic competition of the scouts of Serbia with the title `Cup of Kralj Petar` I was organized in  Memorial park `Bubanj` from 18 to 20 September.
Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Municipal Assembly welcomed the participants from Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. He emphasized good cooperation of the Municipality with the scout organization of the City of Nis, especially with the `Kralj Petar I` squad – the organizer of these activities. `Memorial park `Bubanj` is the space we want to reorganize in the cooperation with the scouts as `guardians of nature`. Our wish is to create one sport-recreational type of center of the City itself and of our municipality. We want to provide this especially to our children and young people – one more green oasis in city nucleus` - emphasized Djurdjevic. President of Scouts Organization of Serbia Momcilo Petkovic reminded the participants that the citizens` initiative previously came from Australia and that the scouts of Serbia more than 15 years have had successful activities. `The programme of scout organization`-emphasizes Petkovic,` has for its aim to provide to its members the review of various skills for successful time spent in nature and better introducing with flora and fauna, as well as the protection of our goods of nature`. Members of teams of 25th scouts Cup `Kralj Petar I` in Nis, except for the participation in ecological campaign CUW weekend showed the high level of capability for staying and living in nature, circulation in the unknown terrain, task accomplishment, transmitting distance messages, providing first aid. Due to the estimation of competition commission and Headquarters of the action in the category of scouts the best results were shown by `Josif Pancic` squad and in girl scout teams from `Vozd Karadjordje` squad. Nonius` horse club from Gornje Medjurovo were also present with the scouts and volunteers from EKOpolis net .
